Primary school soccer tournament
The KRR primary school soccer tournament for 7th and 10th grades took place Sept. 24 and 30. The tournament was held at Egilshöll with seven-player teams competing on half fields.
Foldaskóli showed tremendous effort and strong teamwork throughout their matches but was unable to advance from their group this time. Even so, the love of the game shone through, and players displayed many impressive moves on the field.
The 7th grade was grouped with Dalskóli, Húsaskóli, Hólabrekkuskóli and Selásskóli.
The boys' team roster included: Aron, Craig, Faris, Gunnar, Jökull, Kristinn, Theodór, and Björn Rúnar.
The girls' team roster included: Ingibjörg, Embla, Anja, Jökla, Eva, Íris, Kolbrún, Sara, and Eyja.
The 10th grade girls were grouped with Hólabrekkuskóli, Ingunnarskóli and Norðlingaskóli.
The girls' team roster included: Árbjört, Daney, Svandís, Elísa, Ragna, Dagmar, Enea, Aldís, Svala, and Alexandra.
The 10th grade boys were grouped with Hólabrekkuskóli, Norðlingaskóli, Ingunnarskóli and Breiðholtsskóli.
The boys' team roster included: Kjartan, Bjartur, Hermann, Brynjar Elí, Frosti, Elvar Jökull, Loi, Björgvin, Steinar, Magni, and Emil.
